Under-Slung Suspension
Exporting Under-Slung Suspension to South America According to Customer Requirements.
Key Features
Structural Layout: The leaf springs are positioned beneath the axle, secured to the axle from above with U-bolts and fastened to the bottom plate.
Lower Center of Gravity: Since the leaf springs are located below, the height of the entire chassis (frame) is reduced. This effectively lowers the vehicle’s center of gravity.
Stability: A lower center of gravity improves the vehicle’s stability during high-speed driving or cornering.
Applications
This design is primarily used in vehicles with strict requirements for loading height or those requiring exceptional driving stability:
Low-bed semi-trailers: To load large equipment, the chassis height must be lowered as much as possible.
Container chassis trucks: In some cases, to reduce the overall vehicle height to pass through height-restricted sections.
Specialized transport vehicles: Transportation sectors with high requirements for rollover resistance.
